• • Acetal polymer is nearly impervious to the environment and does not degrade due to UV (sunlight)
  • These make great attachment devices for anything that stays on deck for extended periods of time (jerrycans, beanbags, inflatable chairs, sailbags, fenders, etc.)
  • The polymer does not damage painted surfaces, decks or feet, when dropped
  • A stainless steel spring is completely integrated inside the carabiner

  Note:  Although no formal number exists/published for the ultimate strength of these carabiners (too many variables and too much legal risk for the manufacturer) they are not toys.  They are military-grade connectors and can easily hold over a 180-lb.
  However, they are not designed for lifting heavy loads such as people, sails, dinghies, etc.​​ and should not be used in this fashion.
