We are a small family-owned business with decades of sailing experience.
We are not a private equity holding company (with hundreds of expensive-to-operate store locations) looking to maximize profits by selling mediocre quality items.
Our products enhance your vessel whether it is a sailboat, powerboat, monohull, multihull or mega-yacht. The products we offer complement the lifestyle you live - be it a day sailor, live-aboard, full-time/part-time cruiser or chartered/privately owned yacht.
We are authorized retailers of all the products offered on our website, which also means they are fully backed by the manufacturer’s warranties.
We only sell the products that we use & recommend.
Quality, not quantity. We are not a mass importer of goods from an intermediate distributor like many other chandleries. This helps us keep costs low and only offer those products which we have a history with and can recommend.
Some of our selected partners have literally hundreds of products (Tayama, Kong, etc.). If you know of a product and we don’t show it on the website, we can quickly order it for you directly from the manufacturer at competitive prices.
Shipping is not free. Many good people around the world make an honest living delivering products that people purchase online. There is no such thing as “free shipping”. Please be aware that:
We here at Manu Kea only charge the actual shipping costs. We do not artificially inflate any shipping costs, nor do we add the shipping costs into the part/product cost you see on the website.
Note: The Grizzly products offer a discounted shipping rate. We add shipping into the advertised low price because that’s how our website software works. We also clearly define the part price and the shipping costs for understanding and transparency.
