Environmental Sustainability – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
The products offered by Manu Kea Inc. (and our selected partners) are rooted in sustainability for the ongoing benefit of our planet. The simple truth is that: if our environment suffers, then we will all suffer. From the initial design process throughout the manufacturing and logistical actions in providing high-quality marine components for your boat, sustainability is always considered. Our dedication to only the highest quality ensures that you are getting products that last longer, functions for multiple years onboard, needs to be replaced less often, can be recycled and ultimately create less waste.
Together individual boaters can become a relentless force around the planet to stop environmental pollution.

Reduce
We only sell specialized, often multi-purpose products designed to maximize your safety and enjoyment while onboard. In this fashion you then don’t need to purchase as many non-essential objects.
Although it is tempting to purchase the most inexpensive component, know that those can be the most inferior of products (cheap). And an inferior product doesn’t last very long, wasn’t designed for the rigors of a marine environment and may not function properly from the beginning. And most importantly of all: an inferior product is most likely to be discarded, thus adding to the landfill problem.
Reuse
As we only sell robust, well-made products designed for years of use onboard; you don’t have to replace them as often (a form of reuse) and therefore generate less potential waste. It is important to look for products that will last, components that are durable, well-made and appealing/pleasing to the eye for long-term adoption and use.
Not only are our products reusable and robust, but almost every item we sell is backed with an in-class industry leading warranty period. This underlying trust in the manufacturer’s product demonstrates the reusing of products for a very long service life.
Also, when and where possible, Manu Kea Inc. also only uses properly recycled shipping and packaging materials. This form of reuse keeps materials out of the landfills and limits the need for virgin material (trees for cardboard). We also drop ship the largest products from our partners when ordered in a concerted effort to reduce the overall carbon footprint for shipping logistics.
Recycle
We are running out of space in the landfills and many entities are known to be dumping directly into the waterways. For this reason (and many others), recycling is the ultimate goal in protecting the environment. There is a finite limit to the resources available and the re-formation of raw materials (out of old products) to provide new products for the future is highly desirable.
Manu Kea Inc. offered products are almost 100% recyclable. So even after many years of designed use, know that you can recycle them to provide ‘new’ raw materials for future generations.
