Origins of Manu Kea

Our Story

This company was founded by passionate boaters, like you! Whether you jig for flounder on a skiff -or- captain a 200ft. mega yacht in remote locations; you're among friends.

Founded by blue water catamaran sailors who have a love for "all things liquid". Our founders have owned all manner of boats but became sailing catamaran adopters back in 2007.

With decades of blue water passagemaking, coastal cruising, and liveaboard status, we know what it takes to be safe, have fun and make lasting aquatic memories.

Our philosophy is simple:

Reliable Products + Quality Safety Equipment = Maximum Nautical Experiences

In our never-ending quest to discover the finest boating products for our catamaran (robust, quality equipment with minimal weight) we discovered that these attributes serve all captains equally well. And thus our ever-growing product range should benefit all manner of boaters and boats!
